BREAKING Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State and the national leadership of the Accord Party have ad0pted President Bola Tinubu as the party’s preferred candidate for the 2027 presidential election.



The spokesperson for the Adeleke re-election campaign, Pelumi Olajengbesi, said in a statement that the governor and the party’s national leadership met on Saturday night in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, where they discussed important issu£s aff£cting the party.

According to Olajengbesi, the party leaders said it is important for the Tinubu administration to complete major road and infrastructure projects already underway, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road and the Sokoto-Badagry Highway.

He also said they discussed the upcoming August governorship elect!0n and called for a p£aceful process. The party urged everyone to av0!d v!0lence, int!m!dat!0n, elect!0n malpr@ct!ce, and the m!sus£ of secur!ty agenc!es aga!nst Accord Party members in Osun State.

Meanwhile, non-indigenous residents from the Southern states, Benue, and Plateau living in Osun State have expressed their support for Governor Adeleke’s re-election. They also reaffirmed their commitment to p£aceful coexistence and the continued development of the state.

The endorsement was announced during a town hall meeting held over the weekend in Ede. The meeting was organized by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Non-Indigenes from the South, Benue, and Plateau States, Mr. Nworie Monday Michael.  Continue reading.
