 The Incorporated Trustees of the Southern Kaduna Peoples’ United Association (SOKAPU) have filed a lawsu!t at the Federal High Court in Kaduna aga!nst the Minister of Works, David Umahi, over the pass!ng of Mary Habila, a nurse who was attached to the minister’s medical team.

Mary Habila reportedly pass£d away on June 27 at the minister’s residence. The inc!dent has continued to draw public attention and calls for a thorough investigat!0n into the circumstanc3s surrounding her pass!ng.

In the su!t, SOKAPU also listed Habila Tanko Wisdom, the father of the dec£4sed, the Attorney-General of Ebonyi State, and the Commissioner of Police in Ebonyi State as respondents.
